john segal design is an award-winning illustration, design and picture book studio. 

Illustration clients include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and Time Magazine. 

His work has been featured in GRAPHIS, PRINT, and COMMUNICATION ARTS Magazine. 

John is the Illustrator and/or author of 12 picture books for Children, including THE LONELY MOOSE,  CARROT SOUP 

and PIRATES DON’T TAKE BATHS. 

He is a six-time winner of the Greeting Card Association LOUIE AWARD for Greeting Card design, including Card of the Year, and until recently,  the Creative Director of Crane Stationery.

John lives and works on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, near Central Park, where he can  often be found 

riding his yellow bicycle.
